BRIDGE PEOPLE

While living in Santo Spirito, I would often travel to my nearest bridge, just west of Ponte Vecchio. Ponte Santa Trinita offers breathtaking views from both sides, but the moments between crossings stand out more than anything.

Thousands of people walk this bridge every day. I saw everything from breakups to proposals - meltdowns to reunions. Love stuck out more than any action.
